Rose Cambareri McAuliff

Albany-Rose Cambareri McAuliff was born in Albany, New York to Maria and Carmino Cambareri. She passed away on December 18, 2012 at the age of 90. Rose was predeceased by her wonderful husband, Harry McAuliff, her sisters Antoinette Porpiglia and Angeline Giordano, her brothers Salvatore, Peter, and Anthony Cambareri. She is survived by her youngest sister Helen Sharone and her brother-in-law, Joseph Sharone, her dear Bobby and Florence Weaver, and was a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews. Rose graduated from Philip Schuyler High School, worked for many years at the DeBeer Baseball Factory and at the McAuliff family restaurant, "Lil's Diner" in North Albany. Rosie's rare and loving heart were well known to all in her family and her friends in the North Albany community. She will be greatly missed as she was greatly loved. Relatives and Friends are invited for Visitation on Friday, January 4, 2012 from 4PM to 7PM at Lasak and Gigliotti Funeral Home now located at 208 No. Allen St. Albany, NY 12206 Funeral services Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 8:15 AM from the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, then to Sacred Heart Church, North Albany at 9:00 AM where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
