Albany- Wladyslawa Kiernozek, 90, entered eternal life Saturday January 22, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Serafin, Poland to the late Franciszek and Teofila Piankowski. Wladyslawa was a gentle soul who was always happy.She even lifted others up who were going through rough times. She was a person who was always busy doing something and never stood idle. She will be missed dearly by her loving husband Stanley, two sons and the rest of her family. She is missed by her husband Stanley Kiernozek; sons Andrezej “Andy,” Gregory (Linda) and her late son Johnny (living Danusia) Kiernozek; grandchildren Amy, Johnny, Stephanie, Helenka: great grandchildren Jennifer and Drew; Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Sophie, Shelly, Nina, Danusia and Helenka who provided such wonderful care during her illness. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Wladyslawa’s family Wednesday, January 26, 2022 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, NY 12206. Please only enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot doorways. Masks are required for everyone. Funeral services Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 9:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church 607 Central Ave., (Father John Bradley Way), Albany NY 12206 where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
