Concetta "Connie" Gram

Albany-Concetta Bruno Gram (Connie) was born April 1, 1921 and left this life on March 25th to be reunited in heaven with her husband, Michael Gram who loved her with deep devotion. She was born in Albany the daughter of Frank Bruno and Rose Novembre Bruno Dillon, where she remained a life-long resident. Connie was a graduate of the former Cathedral Academy in Albany and worked for the Amy Depot during World War II. After the war she worked for the New York State Department of Education from which she retired after many years. She met Michael, the love of her life, after the war while he was in Albany to visit his cousin. They dated, found they had much in common, fell in love, and were married for 56 years. After their respective retirements they enjoyed travel to many different places and wintering at their home in Florida where they had the pleasure to visit with Michael, Jr. and his children. She was gratified and proud to be Michael’s step-mother and step-grandmother to Michael, Gabriella and Mitchell. Connie and “her Michael” belonged to many organizations including the Albany Elks #49, the William F. Wiggins VFW Post 8444 and the Knights of Columbus Council #173. Connie was an active member of the Auxiliary and County Counsel. Connie leaves her loved stepson, Michael Gramazio (Sally), nieces Linda (Edward) Nicholas, Lori Fink and nephew, Louis (Hilary) Bruno and their children. Also, dear friends Raymond and Eileen Collins and their children. She was predeceased by her brother Louis D. Bruno, Esq. and her niece Rose Anne Bruno. Funeral services Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 9:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, Albany where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
