Cecile M. Richichi

Albany- Cecile M. Richichi, 76, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family, after losing her battle to breast cancer. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John J. Dugan, Sr. and Cecelia E. Campbell Dugan. Cecile was a graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School. She retired from the Albany County Board of Elections after many years as an Elections Specialist. She was a member of the North Albany Legion Post 1610 and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary; and the North Albany Limericks, where she was Past Marshall of the Limerick Parade. Cecile is survived by her children, Michele Bishop (Paul) of West Sand Lake, NY and Mark Richichi (Cynthia) of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren Jessica Bishop, Lessie Bishop, and Tiffany Richichi; great grandchildren Natalia Thomas and Mia Thomas; her sister Beverly Pach (late Chester) of Menands, NY; brothers Matthew Dugan of Albany, NY, Richard Dugan of Lawrenceville, GA, James Dugan (Linda) of Averill Park, NY and K. Michael Dugan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and her sister in law Mildred Dugan of Malta, NY. She was predeceased by her brother John “Jack” J. Dugan, Jr. just a month ago. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Cecile’s family on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, now located at 208 North Allen Street, Albany. Funeral services Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home at 8:45 am thence to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 33 Walter Street, Albany at 9:30 am where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Interment will immediately follow the Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
